About Us
The True Blue Risk Reversal Guarantee.
Terms and Conditions:
What is guaranteed
We guarantee the energy production of the system we install.
What isn't guaranteed
We don't guarantee monetary savings from a customer’s energy bill
Why monetary savings are not guaranteed
The reason we don’t guarantee monetary savings is that there are too many variables outside of our control.
For example, we do not control the price that your electricity company charges you for the energy you use from the grid. As prices increase, even if your solar system is producing optimally, and your energy consumption behaviour remains the same, your bill will likely increase.
We also have no control over how much energy you are consuming, and when you are consuming it. Many things can impact usage, like more people living at home, a change of jobs, new appliances, having a baby, kids starting school, kids growing into teenagers, etc.

How the guarantee works
At the end of each year, we will calculate the energy production of your solar system, considering any losses from DC to AC conversion and shading. We will use industry-standard methods to estimate these losses, which will be communicated to you at the contract’s start.
Upon calculating the energy production for the year, if the system hasn’t produced the guaranteed amount of energy, we will refund the difference in kW’s multiplied by the average feed-in tariff (FIT) rate available in the state of residence at the time of concern.
How long the guarantee lasts
We will undertake an annual calculation for a period of five years, starting from the date of installation.
How to be eligible for the guarantee
To be eligible for the guarantee, customers must
Perform regular maintenance on their solar system, including cleaning the solar panels, checking connections, and replacing parts as needed. True Blue will not be responsible for any reduction in energy production caused by a neglected system. Regular maintenance refers to quarterly checks and annual cleanings, as well as any necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure that no objects, structures or vegetation are installed or allowed to shade or obstruct the solar panels. If any shading or obstruction occurs, True Blue will not be responsible for any reduction in energy production
Maintain an active and reliable internet connection to the inverter portal for the guarantee period. The inverter portal provides True Blue with accurate real-time data on energy production and system performance, which is necessary to determine if the guaranteed production level has been met.
Report any performance issues to True Blue within 14 days of identification so that we can address the issue as quickly as possible.
Obtain prior written approval from True Blue before making any alterations to the solar system.
When the guarantee becomes invalid
The customer fails to appropriately maintain the system.
The level of shading and/or obstruction of the solar panels has increased since the installation date.
There is a lack of data to calculate production levels due to an inverter being disconnected from the internet.
The customer fails to report known issues promptly.
The customer makes unapproved alterations to the solar system.
The customer’s energy network limits the export, throttling the inverter, and reducing the system capacity
The customers energy provider has set their voltage high, and the customer experiences over-voltage.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the performance guarantee, the customer must purchase and install a solar system from True Blue and agree to the terms and conditions of the guarantee.
Guarantee Period
The performance guarantee applies for five years from the installation date of the customer’s solar system.
Guaranteed Energy Production
True Blue guarantees a minimum energy production level for each year of the guarantee period. The guaranteed energy production level will be communicated to the customer at installation time and included in their contract.
Energy Production Calculation
True Blue will calculate the energy production of the solar system annually, for a total of five years, taking into account any losses from DC to AC conversion and shading. The calculated energy production will be compared to the guaranteed energy production for each year of the guarantee period.
Refunds
Upon an annual calculation, if the solar system does not meet the guaranteed energy production level as set out in the customer’s contract, True Blue will refund the difference between the guaranteed energy production and the actual energy production, multiplied by the average feed-in rate available in the state of residence at the time of concern.
This average feed-in rate will be calculated on the state’s official published rates over the previous 12 months.
Customer Obligations
Failure to meet one or more of the below obligations will invalidate the guarantee. To be eligible for the performance guarantee, the customer must:
Perform regular maintenance on their solar system, including cleaning panels, checking connections, reporting faults, and replacing parts as needed.
Ensure that no objects, structures or vegetation are installed or allowed to shade or obstruct the solar panels.
Maintain an active and reliable internet connection to the inverter portal for the guarantee period.
Report any performance issues to True Blue within 14 days to allow us to address the issue promptly.
Obtain prior written approval from True Blue before making any alterations to the solar system.

Can I afford solar right now?
We offer multiple payment options to suit different budgets, including $0 upfront plans and flexible payment terms. Plus, with energy prices rising, many of our customers find their solar repayments are less than their old power bills – meaning solar can actually improve your monthly cash flow.
What happens if something goes wrong after installation?
Unlike city-based companies that service regional areas, we're local – meaning we're just down the road when you need us. Every system comes with comprehensive warranties, and because we live and work in your region, we provide genuine after-sales support. No long waiting times or complicated city call centers.
Is solar really worth it for properties outside major cities?
Absolutely. Regional properties often see even better returns on solar investment than city homes. With typically larger roof spaces, less shade from neighboring buildings, and higher energy bills due to regional pricing, our customers commonly see their systems pay for themselves faster than city installations.
What if my roof isn't suitable for solar?
We conduct a thorough assessment before making any recommendations. If your roof isn't ideal, we can explore alternative mounting options or suggest upgrades to make solar viable. Being regional specialists, we've successfully installed systems on every type of property you can imagine – from historic homesteads to modern farm buildings.
Will solar panels actually survive our extreme weather?
Our systems are specifically chosen and engineered for regional Australian conditions. We use premium panels and mounting systems rated for extreme temperatures, high winds, and severe storms. Plus, all our installations include additional weather protection measures based on your specific location's climate patterns.
